|Wayne L. Cutliff, 78, of Galesburg died at 12:00 pm Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in the Richard L. Owen Hospice Home Peoria, Ill.
He was born August 5, 1935 in Monmouth, Ill. the son of Ollie and Berdie Honsmon Cutliff. He married Judith Caldwell on March 25, 1960. He later married Sharron Baughman Mooney on April 9, 1977. She survives.
He is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Mooney and Terry (Jennifer) Cutliff both of Galesburg; three daughters, Debbie (Mike) McClellan of Williamsfield, Ill., Kim (Bill) Tompkins of Grenada, Miss., and Cheryl Leath of Galesburg, Ill.; one brother, Ollie Cutliff, Jr. of Surprise, Ariz.; four sisters, Mildred Brown of West Covina, Calif., and Donna J. (Bud) Turley of Hamilton, Mont., Marlene Baldridge of Monmouth, Ill. and Patricia (Gary) Harden of Galesburg; nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and five sisters.
Wayne served in the US Air Force for 4 years stationed in Japan.
He worked as a truck driver from 1960-1998. He was a member of the First Church of God.
Celebration of Wayne's life will be 1 pm Friday, August 16, 2013 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Rev. Dennis McQuown will officiate. There will be no visitation. Cremation will be accorded. Inurnment will be in East Linwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Church of God or to the Family. Online condolences may be offered at www.h-p-w.com.
