Taylor, Martha J.
Martha J. Taylor, 72 of Roseville, IL passed away Friday September 11, 2009, 6:00 pm at the Roseville Country Manor Roseville, IL.

She was born Monday September 28, 1936 in Avon, IL the daughter of Max and Mildred Farrar Bond. She married Warren Taylor on November 18, 1956 at the Roseville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of Roseville, IL; one daughter Kathy (Steve) Weston of Hamilton, MT; one son Mike (Lori) Taylor of Roseville, IL; Grandchildren Chrissy (Jeremy) Russell of Sciota, IL, Tanya (Jason) Blakeman of Monmouth, IL, Ryan and Matthew Turley both of Hamilton, MT; great grandchildren Colton, Sophia, Kaden, Roy, Marley, and Cooper; step great grandchildren Shane Pinson of Peoria, IL, Brad (Niki) Weston of Hamilton, MT, Melissa (Matt) MacDonald of Denver, CO; her mother Mildred Bond of Macomb, IL. She was preceded in death by her father.

Martha was raised in the Roseville community area where she has lived her entire life. She graduated from Roseville High School in 1954. She worked at the Axline Drug Store, and she was the Roseville High school secretary and Unit school Secretary for a total of 37 years; after retirement she worked at Bob's T.V. for several years. She and her husband sold Holland Grills where she was the #1 salesman. They together started the Illinois Senior Wellness Group. She worked on the Chamber of Commerce, volunteered at the Roseville Nursing Home, was a member of the senior bowling league, and a member of the Raritan Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and loved to have animals around, especially her dog Cuddles.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at 10:30 am at Corman Memorial Home Roseville, IL. Burial will be in Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at Cormans Roseville, IL.
