Raymond Eugene Quinn Sr., age 74, of Knoxville, Illinois died at 12:14 P.M. on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, Illinois.
He was born on April 1, 1935 in Abingdon, Illinois, the son of Irvin and Opal Sissel Quinn.
He married Cecylia Holmes on December 23, 1955 in Hernando, Mississippi.
He later married Betty Campbell on July 14, 1988 in Cullman, Alabama.
She survives of Knoxville, Illinois.

He was reared and educated in Abingdon, Illinois and attended Galesburg High School in Galesburg, Illinois.
He served in the United States Army from December 1954 until December 1957 during the Korean War as a mechanic.
He farmed around Alexis, Illinois and in Alabama.
He worked as a diesel mechanic for Randall Bus Service in Galesburg, Illinois for 35 years.
He also worked as a bus driver for R. W. Harmon Bus Service in Galesburg, Illinois.
He worked as a diesel mechanic and driver for City Wide Disposal Service in Galesburg, Illinois.
He later worked for Tractor Supply Company in Alabama from 1988 until 2005.
He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Galesburg, Illinois.
Cremation Rites will be accorded.
Inurnment will be held at a later date.
