Lawrence E. Ashby, 70, of 800 N. Market St. Knoxville, IL died 4:38 PM Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Knox County Nursing Home, Knoxville.
He was born July 13, 1939 in Seville, IL to Robert and Leona Robinson Ashby.
Surviving are 4 brothers Kenneth (and Sharon) Ashby and Raymond Ashby of Knoxville, IL, Keith Ashby of Galesburg and James (and Lucille) Ashby of Gerlaw, IL, an aunt Rosalee Buley of Marietta, IL and several cousins.
Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Saturday September 5, 2009 at Fiatt Cemetery with the Rev. Milton Marquith officiating. There will be no visitation.
