Carl Paul Vernon Hanson, 86, of 786 Walsh Ave. died at 10:09 am Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the home of his daughter in rural Gilson, surrounded by his family.
Cremation will be accorded. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the First Lutheran Church. Pastor Paul Johnson will officiate. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #285 Honor Guard. There will be no visitation. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
