Farr, Mary Elanor
Mary Eleanor Farr, 92, of Roseville, IL, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 5:20 pm at the Roseville Rehab and Health Care Center. She was born on September 26, 1917 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of Ora and Goldie Abigail Wells Kirby. She married Ora D. Farr on November 28, 1936 in Virginia, IL; he preceded her on November 28, 1986.

She is survived by two sons Ron (Kittie) Farr of, and Phil (Neoma) Farr of; Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; two brothers Glen (Val) Kirby and Don Robert (Donna Belle) Kirby; four sisters Ruth (Al) Shaw, Bobbe (Vince) Hulslander, Donna Lee McCollom, Melba Twomey. She was preceded in death by 1 son (Don Farr), husband (Ora Farr), 2 sisters (Eva Marie Bessie Jane, and Fran Walker) 1 granddaughter (Debbie Hoilst), 1 great great grandson (James Michael Cokel.

Mary Eleanor was employed at the Smohlers Factory, Form Fit Factory and Rossville Dime Store. She was a member of the Eastern Star, lifetime member of the Swan Creek United Methodist Church, Red Hat Society, and the Roseville Woman's Club. She enjoyed crocheting, and loved her trip to the Holy Land. She loved her family and all around enjoyed life.

Funeral will be 11:00 am Monday September 20, 2010 at the Corman Memorial Home, Roseville, IL. Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Corman Memorial Home Roseville, IL. Burial will be in the. Memorials may be made to the Swan Creek United Methodist Church and or Roseville Rehab. and Health Care Center. Please sign the guest book at www.cormanmh.com.
