|Ruby E. Conces, age 71, of Galesburg, Illinois, died on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 3:36 A.M. at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.
She was born on May 13, 1939 in Galesburg, Illinois, the daughter of Oscar and Nina Davis Walker.
She married Edward L. Kaletsch in August 1957 in Galesburg, Illinois.
She later married John Conces in June 1985 in Galesburg, Illinois.
Surviving are: Sons;Rodney (Beth) Kaletsch of Bremen, Alabama and Mark (Tanja) Kaletsch of Tucson, Arizona. Daughter: Sue (Dwayne) Mesecher of Galesburg, Illinois Five Grandchildren: Ashlee (Mike) Coyle, Zachary Kaletsch, Jake Kaletsch, Kaylee Mesecher and Cody Kaletsch. Three Great Grandchildren: Makenzi, Addyson and Bianqa Coyle. Sisters: Elly (Gary) Pittman of Bakersfield, California. Appie (John) Roberts of Yucaipa, California. Brothers: Jim (Cathy) Walker of Hanna City, Illinois,Joe Walker of Delong, Illinois, and Mike (Pam) Walker of Bakersfield, California. Preceded in death by her parents; one brother: Lewis and one son: Edward.
She was raised and educated in Galesburg and Knoxville, Illinois area.
She worked as a manager at Dollar General in Galesburg, Illinois; and later a receptionist at Yemm Chevrolet in Galesburg, Illinois.
She was a member of the East Galesburg Community Chapel in East Galesburg, Illinois and helped with the church activities.
She helped with activities such as bowling and pot lucks at Mary Allen West.
Her grandkids and great grandkids were her pride and joy.
Cremation Rites will be accorded.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 from 10:00 until 12:00 Noon at the East Galesburg Community Chapel in East Galesburg, Illinois.
Private Services will be held with Rev. Milton Marquith officiating.
Inurnment in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Galesburg, Illinois at a later date.
