Darion Joseph Smith, 3, 1543 McKnight St., Galesburg, died at 5:07 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2010 in OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
He was born August 15, 2007 the son of Lanette Hoopes.
He is survived by his mother, Lanette, grandparents, Sarah and Ray Mortimer, Patsy Lucas, Rhonda Lucas, and Jack Hoopes, Jr., and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Darion enjoyed playing outside and baseball, spending time with his grandparents, and attending school at Bright Futures.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com. |
