Helen L. Schwartzkopf, 80, of Woodhull, Il died Thursday September 2,
2010 at Heartland Health Care Center in Galesburg, Il. Services are
11:00 AM Tuesday at Peterson Wallin Knox Funeral Home in Alpha. Burial
is in the Alpha Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 PM Monday at Peterson
Wallin Knox Funeral Home in Alpha where a memorial fund will be

She was born September 18, 1929 in Alpha to Harold and Bessie Chesley
Willett. She graduated from Alpha High School in 1947 and married Roy
J. Schwartzkopf September 21, 1947 in Alpha.
Helen was a homemaker and assisted her husband in their farming
operation. She was a member of the Henry County Farm Bureau and the
Flemish American Club in Kewanee. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing
cards and being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Roy, 1 daughter-in-law, Linda
Schwartzkopf of Galva, 2 grandchildren, Tammy (Walter) Humbird of
Rosharon, TX, Kevin (Kendra) Schwartzkopf of Woodhull, 1 great grandson
Joseph Humbird of Rosharon, 3 step great grandchildren, Alex Byrd, Nick
and Noah Ragan all of Woodhull, 2 sisters, Margaret Maritz of Monmouth,
Il, Lorraine Carlson of Moline, 3 brothers Richard (Verna) Willett of
Bettendorf, Ia, Dale (Joyce) Willett of Sun City, AZ, Leroy (Donna)
Willett of Woodhull and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, 1 son, Daniel, 1 grandson Michael and 1 sister, Marie
Johnson preceded her in death. |
