Hull, Ruth M.
Ruth Mae Hull, 92, a resident of Roseville Rehab and Health Care Center, formerly of Monmouth, died at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2011 in the health care center.

She was born February 17, 1919 in Abingdon, Va. the daughter of Charles and Margaret Williams Hawk. She married Lester Arlo Hull on August 5, 1940 in Burlington, Iowa. He preceded her in death on June 4, 1998.

She is survived by a son, Alan D. (and Carol) Hull of Camdenton, Mo.; two daughters, Marilyn (and Jim) Vandeveer of Monmouth and Arletha (and William) Talley of Monmouth; a daughter-in-law, Judy Hull of Monmouth; seven grandchildren, Tracy Hull, Christine Ischer, Steven Vandeveer, Karen Vandeveer, Douglas Talley, Brandon Hull, and Eric Hull; seven great grandchildren; a great great grandson; two sisters, Helen (and Stanley) Fowler of Monmouth, and Joan (and Kenneth) Johnson of Galesburg; mother-in-law, Charlotte Hull-Wenstrom of Galesburg; two brothers-in-law, Wayne (and Bobby) Hull of Galesburg and Wendell (and Sandy) Hull of Wis.; and a sister-in-law, Colleen Orwig of Galesburg. She was preceded in death by two sons, Lester Arlo Hull, Jr. and Jerry L. Hull; four brothers, Charles Hawk, Jr., Clarence Hawk, Robert Hawk, and Max Hawk in infancy; and three sisters, Maxine Hawk, Lucille Vestal and Mary McIntyre.

Ruth had worked at Monmouth Hospital, Monmouth Nursing Home, and the former Admiral Corporation. She was a member of Roseville Nazarene Church.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2011 in Roseville Nazarene Church. Rev. Rick Burgard will officiate. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Burial will be in Monmouth Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Roseville Rehab and Health Care Center. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
