Betty Ann Chase, 75, Farmington, Ill., died at 8:45 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2011 in Heartland Health Care Center.
She was born May 7, 1936 in Chestline, Ill. the daughter of Leon and Zelma Kendrick Jackson. She married Bobbie Eugene Chase on March 5, 1952 in Pittsfield, Ill. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Roger E. (Kathy) Chase of Knoxville, Ill., Alan D. Chase (Steve Hills) of Kansas City, Mo., and Michael S. (Carolyn) Chase of Abingdon, Ill.; her daughter, Maritta (Parker) Smizer of Farmington, Ill.; seven brothers, George (Betty) Jackson of Knoxville, Ill., John H. (Jane) Jackson of Berwick, Wayne Eugene Jackson of Galesburg, Richard L. (Linda) Jackson of East Galesburg, Kenneth L. (Sue) Jackson of Nunnelly, Tenn., Terry L. (Lorma) Jackson of Rio, Ill., and Bob Jo (Vickie) Jackson of Quincy, Ill.; three sisters, Patricia (Clarence) Bishop of Monmouth, Ill., Maybell (Raymond) Ostrander of Augusta, Ill. and Doris (Charlie) Swise of Canton, Ill.; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Janet Johnson in 2005.
Betty was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and yard sales.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday September 13, 2011 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Rev. James Ecklund will officiate. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Burial will be in Fiatt Cemetery, Fiatt, Ill. Memorials may be made the family. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com. |
