Thomas A Swanson, 59, of East Galesburg, Illinois died on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 1:50 PM at Marigold Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Galesburg, Illinois.
Thomas was born on January 2, 1952 in Galesburg, Illinois the son of William Swanson and Rose Mary Theobald. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and loved fishing.
He is survived by his children Thomas A Swanson Jr. of Aledo, Illinois, Theresa A Meeker of Kentucky, and Tim A Swanson of Wisconsin, 5 Brothers and Sisters; Beverly Wetterow of East Galesburg, Illinois, Danny Swanson of Galesburg, Illinois, Rodney Rodgers of Peoria, Illinois, Vickie Swanson of Galesburg, Illinois, and Jack Swanson of Galesburg, Illinois. He is also survived his Father William Andrew Swanson of Galesburg, Illinois and his Step-Mother Rose Swanson of Galesburg, Illinois and 5 Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by a son Todd A Swanson, brother William A Swanson and his mother Rose Mary Theobald.
A celebration of life will be on Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Knoxville American Legion. Memorials may be left to the family. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of local arrangements. |
