|Pamela Kae (Weigman) Sebben, 58 of 1317 N. Seminary St., Galesburg, died at 11:40 am Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Pam was born on July 23, 1951 in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Wally and Delores (Hanten) Weigman. She married Brent Sebben on September 4, 1971 in Dubuque. He survives.
She is also survived by her father, Wally Weigman of Dubuque, IA; her children, Josh (and Shannon) Sebben of Henderson, IL, Joe (and Faith) Sebben of Abingdon, IL and Sadie Sebben of Galesburg, IL; 6 grandchildren; four brothers, Gary (and Linda) Weigman of Minnesota, Mike (and Diane) Weigman of Dubuque, IA, Jeff (and Heidi Goin) Weigman of Durango, IA and Dan (and Kim) Weigman of Sageville, IA.
Pam was preceded in death by her mother Delores Weigman.
She graduated from Dubuque Wahlert High School in 1969. She later graduated from dental school in Milwaukee, WI. She had worked as a dental assistant in Dubuque. After moving to Abingdon, IL in 1975, she worked at the Sebben Family Insurance office and later worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Miller in Abingdon and for the Knox County Health Department in Galesburg. She moved to Galesburg, IL in 2001 and worked part time for the Mad Hatter Shop, and later as the assistant manager for the Hy-Vee Gas Station on East Main St.
She attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Galesburg. She was "president of her CEO group," was past member and past president of the Abingdon Athletic Booster Club. She enjoyed fishing, playing Bingo, going to the riverboats with her friends and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am Monday, October 5, 2009 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 2401 N. Broad St., Galesburg, IL. The Rev. Msgr. Ernest Pizzamiglio will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 pm.
