Evelyn T. Palmer, 85 of Roseville, IL passed away on Wednesday October 14, 2009 at 9:00 am at the Roseville Country Manor Roseville, IL. She was born on October 23, 1923 in Media, IL the daughter of Joseph E. and Eulalie Baker Campbell Sr. She married Eston S. Palmer on August 26, 1944 in Moline, IL; he preceded her on February 2, 1996.
She is survived by one daughter Virginia (David) Goss of Hot Springs, AR. and one son Michael Palmer of Media, IL; 4 grandchildren Mark (Tammy) Dorn of Quad Cities, IL, Misty (Rob) Richens of Hot Springs, AR., Michael (Wendy) Parrish of Hot Springs, AR., and Janelle (Eric) Kramer of West Burlington, IA; 4 great grandchildren Brently and Bradly Fontenot of Hot Springs, AR., and Kaylee and Paige Kramer of West Burlington, IA; one sister Nancy Dikeman of Maquon, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 5 sisters (Carolyn Lant, Marjorie Serfas, Betty Roberts, Ruth Triplet, and Virginia Campbell, 1 brother (Joe Campbell Jr.).
Evelyn was born and raised in Media, IL where she has lived her entire life. She enjoyed working in her yard and flowers, and really enjoyed her Sunday morning coffee with friends.
Funeral service will be Saturday October 17, 2009, 2:00 pm at the Corman Memorial Home Roseville, IL. Family will receive friends Friday October 16, 2009 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Cormans Roseville, IL.
