Nothom, M. Delores
M. Delores Nothom, age 65, of Galesburg, Illinois died on Monday, October 11, 2010 at 6:50 A.M. at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, Illinois.

She was born on February 28, 1945 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Aaron and Margaret Willis Deal. She married Jerome E. Nothom on August 14, 1961 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Galesburg, Illinois. He survives of Galesburg, Illinois.

Also surviving are three daughters, Laurie (Jeff) Johnson of Knoxville, Illinois, Wendy Nothom of Galesburg, Illinois and Christine (Brent) Higgins of Washington, Illinois; one son, Keith Nothom of Knoxville, Illinois; five grandchildren, Kelsey and Amber Johnson; Quinn, Abigail and Teagan Higgins; one great granddaughter, Skyler Carruthers; two sisters, Donna (Forest) Kilpatrick of Galesburg, Illinois and Erin Buckmaster of Dahinda, Illinois; one brother, Charles Deal of St. Louis, Missouri; one half-sister, Theresa (Harvey) Herring of East Galesburg, Illinois and one stepbrother, Kenneth (Lynn) Thompson of State of Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter: Hope; one granddaughter: Haley Johnson; one sister: Judy Johnson; one brother: Larry Deal and one half-brother: Johnny Thompson.

She was raised and educated in Oklahoma, Galesburg and Knoxville, Illinois. She was a homemaker and loved her kids, grandkids and family. She attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Galesburg, Illinois. She enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Cremation Rites will be accorded.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hurd Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois with Visitation beginning at 10:30 A.M. Monsignor Ernie Pizzamiglio officiating. Inurnment in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Galesburg, Illinois. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.
