Mabel May Sholl, 89, of Galesburg, died at 9:58 a.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at home.
She was born November 26, 1920 in New Windsor, Ill., the daughter of George W. and Melvina Jane Ralston McNeil.
Mabel is survived by a brother, Wayne "Bud" (and Carolyn) McNeil of Roscoe, Ill., a sister, Alice LaJune Stanton of Knoxville, Ill., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Robert and George, and two sisters, Lillian and Vivian.
She worked as an assembler at Maytag for many years before retiring. Mabel graduated from Galesburg High School in 1938.
Private family visitation will be held on Monday, October 25, 2010 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Cremation will be accorded after the visitation. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com. |
