Vonda Jane Younker, 40, 239 S. Cherry St., Galesburg, died at 9:05 a.m. Sunday, October 3, 2010 at St. Mary's Square Living Center.
She was born March 10, 1970 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Walt and Carolyn Ruth Bugg Younker.
She is survived by her mother, Carolyn of Galesburg, a brother, Steve (and Wendi) Younker of Mason City, Iowa, a sister, Beth (and David Dunkin) Younker of Nashville, Tenn., a nephew, Kyle Younker, and two nieces, Kaitlin Younker and Kaylea Dunkin.
Vonda graduated from Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School in 1991. She worked for KCCDD and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the First United Methodist Church. Rev. Marilyn Anell will officiate. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Burial will be in Warren County Hope Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Square Living Center or First United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com. |
