Helen Lorraine DeCrane, age 81, died on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at her residence in Woodhull, Illinois.
She was born on July 20, 1930 in Percy, Illinois the daughter Duke and Lacy Mae Huggins Throop. She married Walter DeCrane on December 31, 1948 in Rock Island, Illinois. He survives of Woodhull, llinois.
Surviving is a son: Dennis (Debra) DeCrane of Abingdon, Illinois; Four Grandchildren and Four Great-Grandchildren; One brother Carl Lyman of Kansas; Daughter-in-law: Rhonda DeCrane of Galesburg, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Gary DeCrane, two brothers and four sisters. She was raised and educated in Percy, Illinois. She was a homemaker.
She was a Nurses Aid at Oak Glen Health Care Center in Coal Valley, Illinois. She owned and operated the Coffee Cup in Woodhull, Illinois.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 11:30 A.M. at Woodhull Cemetery, Woodhull, Illinois. There will be no Visitation.
