Fetters, R. Maxine
R. Maxine Fetters, age 77, of Woodhull, IL., died Friday, November 13, 2009, in her home. Services are 10:30 AM Monday at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Woodhull. Burial is in the Woodhull cemetery. Visitation is from 3 - 7 PM Sunday at the Peterson Wallin Knox Funeral Home where memorials may be left to the Bethany Lutheran Church, Tri-County Ambulance or American Cancer Society. She was born May 17, 1932 near Cambridge, Il a daughter of Glen and Mabel Peterson Peterson. She was a member of the first graduating class of AlWood High School. On May 27, 1950 she was united in marriage to Arnold F. Fetters at Messiah Lutheran in Aledo.

Maxine was a homemaker, a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Woodhull and she enjoyed crocheting, camping and being with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Arnold, 3 children Sandy (Rod) White of Galva, Il, Donna (Steve) Purl of Princeton, Il, Brad Fetters of Bettendorf, Ia, grandchildren Mark (Stephanie) White of Hampton, Il. Scott (Kari) White of Belvedere, Il, Stephenie (Matt) Hamen Sun Prairie, WI, Shawn Purl Agency, MO, Danielle (Joel) Eaton of St. Albans, VT, Samantha and Sydney Fetters of Davenport.; Great Grandchildren Kolby, Kanon, and Kuper White of Hampton, Owen and Jacob Hamen of Sun Prairie, Jackson White of Belvedere, Zayne Fetters of Davenport, a sister-in-law Cherie Peterson of Alexis and several nieces and nephews.
