Beverly Myra Johnson, age 68, of Galesburg, Illinois went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 12:05 P.M. on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, Illinois.
She was born on June 8, 1942 in Knoxville, Illinois, the daughter of James and Mildred Wilson Clark.
She married Gary E. Johnson on September 8, 1962 at the Chapel By The Sea in New Port, Rhode Island. He preceded her in death on March 24, 2004.

Daughter: Lori Johnson of Bloomington, Illinois
Sons: Scott (Jeannie) Johnson of Gilson, Illinois, Steven (Angela) Johnson of Minooka, Illinois, Theodore Johnson of Sioux City, Iowa, Michael (Amy) Johnson of Knoxville, Illinois
Grandchildren: Ashley (Jimmy Perdue of Knoxville, Illinois, Matt Johnson of Minooka, Illinois
Samantha, Erica and Michael Johnson, Jr of Gilson, Illinois, Cody, Tyler, and Hailey Johnson of Gilson, Illinois
Great Grandchildren: Hannah Burge and Emma Perdue
Mother-In-Law: Helen Johnson of Knoxville, Illinois
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years; her parents and one infant grandson.
Beverly was a homemaker with very neat and creative ways of making wonderful traditions and great memories for her children. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Now mom and dad are back together.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the Knoxville Cemetery in Knoxville, Illinois. Rev. James Vancil officiating.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 26, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Hurd Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois.
