Barbara Joann Fite, age 81, of Galva, Illinois formerly of Wataga, Illinois died on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 8:35 A.M. at the Toulon Nursing Home in Toulon, Illinois.
Born on July 19, 1930 in Galesburg, Illinois, the daughter of Harvey and Laura Danielson Fite.
Surviving is a Friend: Debbie (Michael Weirzycki) Heinz of Kewanee, Illinois

She was raised and educated in Wataga, Illinois graduating from the Wataga High School. She attended Brown's Business College in Galesburg, Illinois
She worked at Grain Elevator in Henderson, Illinois, then Lumber & Hardware Store in Henderson, Illinois for 13 years. Lee Implement in Oneida, Illinois for 21 years, then finally retiring from Dexter Farm Equipment in Rural East Galesburg, Illinois.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Oneida Cemetery in Oneida, Illinois. Rev. Don Reynolds officiating. No Visitation. The Hurd Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in Oneida, Illinois in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Knox County Humane Society. |
