Pepple, Dennis Charles
Dennis Charles Pepple, 65, of 543 Kings Canyon Blvd., Galesburg, Ill. died at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

He was born March 5, 1947 in Rushville, Ill. to Leland Oliver and Kathryn Imogene Lawler Pepple. He married Teresa Elaine Kelly April 26, 1969 in Alpha, Ill. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Michael Dennis Pepple and Stephen Christopher Pepple; three daughters, Patricia LeAnn (and Jay) Feely, Christine Lorraine Pepple and Kelly Denise Pepple-Smith, all of Galesburg; a half-sister, Carol (and Dan) Heck of St. Cloud, Fla.; 16 grandchildren, Katie, Lauren, Christopher, Allison, Emma and Ashley Feely, Abby Pepple, Josh Lavine, Savannah and Sadie Miyler, Kaleb and Alex Pepple, David, Riley and Ella Pepple and Gavin Smith and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Lee Pepple in 2012.

Dennis worked for the former Nystrom and Jordan Construction, Galesburg Construction Company and D. C. Pepple Contractor, all in Galesburg. He retired after 19 years as a Construction Superintendent for Tech Builders in Fairmont, Minn. in March of 2009. He graduated from Rushville High School in 1965. He was a former member of the Carpenter's Union. He was a T-ball and flag football coach for many years. He enjoyed photography, computers and woodworking. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He loved spoiling his family including his 16 grandchildren. He would do anything for anyone and never ask for anything in return.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2012 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Rev. Tom Ek will officiate. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Covenant Church.
