Mrs. Janet K. Brackett, 64, of 121 W. Simmons St., Galesburg, died at 7:32 PM Friday, December 4, 2009 in Cottage Hospital.
She was born February 5, 1945 in Chicago, IN the daughter of Edward and Dorothy Thorne Danielson. She married Richard Brackett. He survives.
Also surviving is a daughter Lori Brackett of Galesburg; two sons David Brackett and Dewey (Kim) Brackett both of Galesburg; a sister Antoinette (Bill) Norris of Kingman, AZ; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.
She worked as a Bus driver and a custodian for District #205. She was very active within the Mary Ellen West Towers. Janet enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Cremation to be accorded. There will be no services. Memorials maybe made to the Mary Ellen West Activity Fund. Hinchliff Pearson West Galesburg Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made to www.h-p-w.com. |
