Steven Joe Wadhams age 31 of Minneapolis, MN, formerly of New Windsor, IL, died December 2, 2009 in his home. Services are 10:00AM Tuesday at the Peterson Wallin Knox Funeral Home in Alpha. Burial is the Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Ophiem, Il. Visitation is from 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home where memorials may be left to Camp Oz, an Epilepsy Foundation organization.
He was born December 19, 1977 in Moline, IL a son of Dennis and Irene Herring Wadhams. He graduated from Sherrard High School in 1996.
Steve was employed as an inventory specialist with Compucom of Minneapolis. He was an avid sports fan especially for the Minnesota Vikings and he enjoyed board games and playing poker.
Survivors include his mother, Irene Wadhams of Urbana, IL, his father Dennis Wadhams of New Windsor, IL, a brother, Greg Wadhams of Richmond, VA, a special friend and companion Jennifer Kendall of Minneapolis, Maternal Grandmother Helen Herring of Alpha, IL, Paternal Grandfather H.LaVerne Wadhams of Bettendorf, Iowa and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. His grandfather Walter Herring and grandmother Violet Wadhams preceded him in death |
