|Lois Williams, age 68, of Galesburg, Illinois, died at 5:00 A.M. on Monday, November 29, 2010 at Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville, Illinois. She was born on March 10, 1942 in Magic Springs, Arkansas, the daughter of Artis and Mildred Powell Ford. She married Larry Walter Williams on April 8, 1960 in Harrison, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on April 6, 1998.
Surviving are two sons, L. Wade (Janet) Williams of Knoxville, Illinois and Rob W. (Michelle) Williams of Knoxville, Illinois; grandchildren, Heather Marie Williams, Cortney Nicole Williams and Corey D. Williams; one sister, Dellia (David) Parker of Blytheville, Arkansas; five brothers, Eugene (Shirley) Ford of Lincoln, Arkansas, Raymond (Sherrie Lee) Ford of Flippin, Arkansas, Johnny (Marie) Ford of Harrison, Arkansas, Floyd Ford of Harrison, Arkansas and Alvin Ford of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and one sister-in-law, Delinda (Ronny) Watkins of Harrison, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one brother: Lloyd Ford and one son: Danny Williams.
She was a homemaker and CEO and co-owner with her husband of the former Protexall, Inc in Galesburg, Illinois. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and working in her yard and flower gardens.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the East Linwood Cemetery in Galesburg, Illinois. Rev. Michel D. Clark officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Association. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois in charge of arrangements.
