Hannah M. Strawhacker, age 105, of Knoxville, Illinois, formerly of Oneida, Illinois, died at 11:20 P.M. on Friday, December 24, 2010 at Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville, Illinois. She was born on September 29, 1905 in Oneida, Illinois, the daughter of Benjamin and Augusta Nicholson.
Surviving are her caregiver, Bonnie Colclaser of Galesburg, Illinois; nieces, Nita Foster of Oneida, Illinois and Doris Senner of Henderson, Illinois and nephew, Ben Nicholson of Galesburg, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
She was raised and educated in Oneida, Illinois. She was a homemaker and did babysitting in the Galesburg, Illinois area.
Cremation Rites will be accorded.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hurd Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois with Visitation beginning at 12:00 Noon. Rev. David Pyell officiating. Inurnment in Oneida Cemetery in Oneida, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville, Illinois.
