|Mary Lou Breeden, formerly of East Galesburg, Illinois, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, December 26, 2011 at 7:05 PM at the Knox County Nursing Home, Knoxville, Illinois.
Mary was born the daughter of Lester and Gladys (Sellers) Pryor on February 16, 1930 in Canton, Illinois. She married Ernie Breeden in Jacksonville, Illinois on October 1, 1947. He preceded her in death on May 22, 1963.
Surviving are her two daughters; Sherry (Wendal Chambliss) Breeden of North Pekin, Illinois and Cindy Vancil of Galesburg, Illinois, brother, William Pryor of Greeley, Colorado, two sisters, Sandra Launer of Peoria, Illinois and Ana Pryor of California. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great- grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
She enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles and drinking coffee. She also loved dogs. Mary was always opinionated and honest with everyone.
