CHICAGO (AP) _ Marian Hossa scored twice and Antti Niemi stopped 22 shots, but lost his shutout bid in the third period of the Chicago Blackhawks' 5-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks Sunday night.

Kris Versteeg, Troy Brouwer and Jonathan Toews also scored for the Blackhawks, who won their third straight and with 61 points moved into a tie atop the NHL standings with the San Jose Sharks. Chicago has won 12 of 15.

Niemi was seeking his fifth shutout in 11 starts this season, but Petteri Nokelainen scored the first of his two goals with 3:21 left. He connected again 1:19 later.
