| Goals, Assists Help Blues Beat Rangers |
ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Alex Steen and Roman Polak each had a goal and an assist, and Chris Mason made 21 saves to help the St. Louis Blues win their season-best fourth straight game, 4-1 over the New York Rangers on Saturday night.
David Perron and David Backes also scored for the Blues, and Keith Tkachuk had two assists. St. Louis improved to 4-2-1 under coach Davis Payne.
Brian Boyle scored for New York, snapping the Rangers' scoring drought at 172 minutes. The Rangers lost their third straight and fourth in five games (1-2-2).
