High School Boys Basketball
PRAIRIELAND CONFERENCE
Elmwood (13-8, 2-3) responded to Abingdon's five-point first quarter lead with a 28-8 run over the next 16 minutes and beat the Commandos (7-12, 1-2) 50-35.
Monmouth-Roseville jumped out to a 23-5 first quarter lead against Knoxville in non-conference play and shot down the Blue Bullets 65-49. Alex Bresnahan scored a game-high 21 points for the Titans (13-6). Markus Hunter added 13. Bryce Ball led Knoxville (7-13) with 15 points.
Peoria Heights (11-9) stopped North Fulton (7-13) 76-58
Lewistown (14-5) blew out Rushville-Industry (1-15) 72-40

Orion won a non-conference game at Wethersfield 66-45
LINCOLN TRAIL CONFERENCE
Rowva came back from 10 points down going into the fourth quarter to take Annawan (8-12) to overtime, when the Tigers outscored the Braves 8-4 and won 70-66. Trevor McCarthy led Rowva (12-8) with 19 points.

Mercer County ran past West Central (5-12) 82-71 behind Brett Anderson's 30 points for the Golden Eagles

#6 Delavan (19-3) defeated Williamsfield (12-11) 55-40. The Bombers' leading scorer Alex Ott was held to 14 points.
#1 Brimfield (21-0) downed Illini Bluffs (10-11) 46-37

Geneseo won a low-scoring game against Sterling 35-30

College Basketball
Carl Sandburg College's men's team lost 69-66 on the road against the St. Ambrose junior varsity team. The Chargers (10-12) were led by Steve Reynolds with 14 points. CSC plays its seventh straight road game Thursday night at Illinois Valley College.
