Knoxville beat Orion 49-27

Rowva's Kelsey Kovacik scored 31 points to help lead the Tigers past Wethersfield 66-57. Sarah DeSchepper added 12 points, Courtney Ecklund contributed 10 points and 5 assists and Marysa Remick had 8 points and 9 rebounds. Kayle Bennett scored 19 points and added 9 rebounds for the Flying Geese.

Stark County defeated Galva 61-39

Mercer County lost to Annawan 51-27

Macomb downed West Central 46-29

Monmouth College made just 16-of-32 free throws but still managed to hold off Grinnell College and the Pioneers' 18 3-point baskets in an 82-80 Scots victory at Glennie Gym.

Monmouth got the lead on Grinnell with 3:59 to play in the game on a basket by Michael DeDecker, who led the Scots with 19 points, after the Pioneers (4-11, 3-6) had led most of the second half. Zach Ott hit two free throws with 2:01 to play that proved to be the winning points.

Corey Gruber added 18 points and Kevin Fay scored 17 for Monmouth, which improves to 4-12 overall and 3-6 in Midwest Conference play.


Monmouth College beat Grinnell College 75-60.

The Scots (10-6, 5-4) went on an 11-2 run with 5:32 to play in the game to seal the win for Monmouth. Justine Boone had a huge game for the Scots, nearly recording a triple-double: 13 points, 11 assists and 8 rebounds.

Zipporah Williams scored a double-double and led five Scots in double figures with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Lynsey Barnard poured in 15, Alison Andrews added 11 and Keli Jo Hinkle chipped in with 10.
