| United 7th Grade Boys Basketball Team Advances to Sectional Round |
POSTED 10:43 a-m 1/29/10 The United 7th grade boys basketball team has a regional championship under its belt, and next up is the sectional round.
United beat Mercer County 23-21 Thursday night in the title game of the Class 7 3-A IESA Monmouth-Roseville Regional at M-R Junior High School in Roseville.
Next up for United is Dunlap Valley Middle School, which beat Illini Bluffs 34-29 for the regional crown at Peoria Christian Thursday night.
United (18-3) and Dunlap Valley (17-5) will play Wednesday night at 6:00 in the sectional round at Illini Bluffs/Glasford. |
