|TOP 25 MEN'S COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Ohio State & Purdue Roll in Big Ten Games
|UNDATED (AP) -- No. 20 Ohio State celebrated its 1960 national championship basketball team by bringing back Jerry Lucas, John Havlicek and Bob Knight for a halftime ceremony.
The current Buckeyes had little trouble with Minnesota as William Buford scored a career-high 26 points in an 85-63 rout of the Gophers. Evan Turner and Jon Diebler each had 19 points for the Buckeyes, who shot 63 percent in winning for the fifth time in six games.
In other top-25 men's basketball action:
- Robbie Hummel scored 23 points to help No. 10 Purdue beat Penn State 66-46 for its fourth straight win. Hummel made four 3-pointers and had six rebounds. JaJuan Johnson scored 13 points and E'Twaun Moore added 12 for the 18-and-3 Boilermakers, who have returned to early-season form after a three-game losing streak in mid-January.
- The 14th-ranked Tennessee Vols pulled out a 61-60 win over Florida on Scott Hopson's long jumper with 21 seconds to play.
- Dominique Jones scored 37 points and South Florida extended its school-best Big East winning streak to three games with a 70-61 upset of No. 17 Pittsburgh.
- Arkansas upset 18th-ranked Mississippi 80-73. Mike Washington had 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Razorbacks.
