High School Girls Basketball
Brimfield got revenge for an earlier loss against Knoxville by beating the Blue Bullets Monday night at Jensen Gymnasium. The Indians (16-3), ranked #2 in the state in Class 1A, outscored 5th ranked Knoxville (17-5) 7-2 in the fourth quarter and came away with a 37-31 victory in a Prairieland Conference match-up. The Blue Bullets made just 3-of-12 free-throws in the game. Abby Ball and Hannah Weedman each scored 10 points in the loss. Paige Spietz led Brimfield, which shot 10-for-12 from the free-throw line, with 13 points.

Ridgewood outscored Rowva 19-3 in the third quarter and cruised to a 77-49 victory. The Spartans, ranked #10 in the state in Class 1A, improved to 16-1. Rowva falls to 5-7.

Monmouth-Roseville turned a three-point halftime deficit into a 43-40 victory against Abingdon.
The Titans (14-4) outscored the Commandos (12-8) 26-20 in the second half. Rebecca Gillen scored 17 points and Claire McGuire 16 for Monmouth-Roseville.
Sheridan Brown led Abingdon with 14 points.

Bushnell-Prairie City/Avon lost to Illini Bluffs 63-38. Bridjet Blount scored 12 points to lead the Spartans (6-10). Illini Bluffs improved its record to 14-4 with the win.
