| Hawks Can't Close Out Anaheim |
CHICAGO (AP) -- Jonas Hiller was spectacular in goal for Anaheim, making 42 saves in the Ducks' 3-1 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks Sunday night. Corey Perry, Saku Koivu and Teemu Selanne scored for the Ducks, who have won four consecutive games. Hiller has allowed only six goals during the streak, which began Tuesday, two days after a 5-2 loss in Chicago with Jean-Sebastien Giguere in net. Anaheim had only 12 shots on goal, tying the franchise record for fewest shots, last done on Oct. 22, 1996, against Philadelphia. It also tied Chicago's record for fewest shots allowed, most recently against the Minnesota North Stars on Dec. 8, 1991. (Copyright 2010 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) |
