Rankings

The Galesburg boys basketball team moved up one spot in this week's poll. The Silver Streaks, who are the first team to post 20 victories in class 3A, defeated Moline and Rockford East over the weekend, and will have Quincy in town Friday night looking for their 15th consecutive win. Rock Island moved up to 2nd in the poll this week, right behind top-rated Peoria Notre Dame--who the Streaks will play on February 22nd, and possibly again in the Dunlap Regional.

The Galesburg girls are still at #7 in their poll, on the heels of a loss to Rock Island, but weekend victories over Normal U. High and Champaign Centennial. The Streaks girls will host United Township tomorrow night, looking to stay in a tie for the top spot in the WB-6.
