HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL
The Galesburg Silver Streaks (21-3, 4-2 Western Big 6) came back from a 13-point deficit Friday night, to defeat the Quincy Blue Devils in Western Big 6 Conference play 69-64. All but two of Brandon Thompson's team-leading 23 points were in the second half, as were all but two of Garrett Williams' 15 points. The Streaks were down 34-21 at halftime, scoring 48 points in the second half to get the come-from-behind victory.
The GHS Sophomores lost to Quincy 66-56.
