UNDATED (AP) -- The lure of the NFL has prompted Jim Harbaugh to leave as Stanford coach. Harbaugh is parlaying Stanford's first 12-win season in school history into a five-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers that ESPN is reporting could be worth $25 million. The Niners haven't made the playoffs in eight years.
There will be a brother-vs.-brother act next season when the Niners play the Baltimore Ravens, coached by Harbaugh's younger brother, John.
