| Bulls Face Pistons Monday |
UNDATED (AP) -- Monday night's three-game NBA schedule gets started in Charlotte, where the resurgent Bobcats host the Memphis Grizzlies. The 13-21 Bobcats are 4-2 since Paul Silas took over on the bench after Larry Brown's abrupt departure. The Eastern Conference-leading Celtics are holding out hope that Kevin Garnett will return for tonight's game against visiting Houston. Boston's All-Star power forward has missed six games due to an injured right leg, including Saturday's ugly 90-79 loss at Chicago that marked one of the Celtics' worst outings of a 28-8 season.
The Rockets will be out to end a five-game skid. The final tip of the night takes place in the Windy City, where the Central-leading Bulls await the division rival Detroit Pistons. |
