| Broncos Hire Fox |
ENGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) -- It didn't take John Fox long to find work. Less than two weeks after the Carolina Panthers let his contract expire following an NFL-worst 2-14 season, Fox has been hired to coach the Denver Broncos, who are coming off a franchise-worst 4-12 campaign.
The 55 year old Fox replaces Josh McDaniels, who was fired Dec. 6 amid the team's worst slide in four decades and the embarrassing videotaping scandal. Hall of Famer John Elway, named chief football executive by the Broncos this week, called Fox "the perfect fit for us."
