Boys Hoops
The second round of Western Big Six Conference boys basketball play gets underway Friday night. Here in Galesburg, the Silver Streaks will host Moline, with the Streaks needing a win to stay in a tie for second place behind league-leading Quincy. Galesburg won the first matchup with the Maroons 63-53 on November 30th at Whartan Fieldhouse. GHS is coming off of a win over Kankakee on Monday, that bumped their overall record to13-11 for the season. We'll have pregame coverage for Streak's basketball Friday night at about 7:10 here on WGIL.
Also in the Western Big 6 tonight, Alleman plays at Rock Island, and Quincy hosts United Township.
