Boys Basketball

The United Township Panthers will pay a visit to John Thiel Gymnasium tonight for a Western Big 6 contest with the Silver Steaks.

U.T. has struggled to a mark of 3-13 this season, as the Panthers have been very challenged offensively.

The Silver Streaks, coming off of Tuesday night's win over Dunlap, have been a little more consistent, posting an overall record of 10-8.

Broadcast time is scheduled for 7:10 with Brad Bennewitz and Jim Lee

Girls Basketball

The Silver Streaks girls basketball team is preparing for a pair of games tomorrow as part of the Martin Luther King Tournament.

The Streaks will play Peoria High at 9 in the morning, and then face highly touted

Champaign Centennial at 7:30 tomorrow night.

Galesburg has won 6 of it's last 7 games, including last night's 58-49 victory at Moline.

The Streaks enter the weekend with a mark of 14-6.

College Basketball

The Knox Prairie Fire have a chance to shock the Midwest Conference tomorrow as they host the league-leading Pioneers of Carroll College.

The Fire enter the game in the basement of the conference standings at 1-7 following Wednesday's loss to Illinois College, while Carroll is coming off of a narrow win over Beloit at midweek that left them 6-2 atop the league.

Gametime is 3pm tomorrow on Tim Heimann Court at Memorial Gymnasium.
