| White Sox Give Teahen a Home: Third Base |
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- Mark Teahen appears to have finally found a permanent position.
After starting at a different spot in each of the past four years for Kansas City, he's slated to start at third base for the Chicago White Sox this season.
Teahean is only the seventh player since 1956 to start four straight season openers at a different position in the field. With the Royals, he opened at second base in 2009, left field in 2008, right field in 2007 and third base in 2006.
Now as a member of the Chicago White Sox, he should be the starting third baseman in 2010 after playing four different positions in 2009 and five in 2008. (Copyright 2010 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) |
