Scots' Track Invite Hosts Four Nationally Ranked Teams
UPDATED 4:23 a.m. 2/11/2010 Track fans are in for a treat Saturday when four nationally ranked teams, including the Monmouth College men's track team, will be competing at the Fighting Scot Invitational.

Monmouth stayed in the top 20 of this week's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) power rankings, but slipped from 18th a week ago to 20th this week. The rankings, which compare teams based on performances during the current season, gave Monmouth 32.05 points, just nine points from a top 15 spot.

Washington University debuted at the No. 19 position and will join No. 5 UW-La Crosse and sixth-ranked UW-Whitewater in the nine-team meet at Monmouth's Huff Athletic Center on February 13th. Field events begin at 1:30 p.m. and the running events at 1:45 p.m. Admission is free.
