HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL - POSTSEASON

CLASS 1A
@ Abingdon:
#3 ranked Ridgewood (29-2) advanced to the sectional finals with a 65-50 win against Bushnell-Prairie City/Avon (14-17). Jena Peterson led three Ridgewood players in double-figure scoring with 18 points. Kendra Pierce scored a game-high 24 points for BPC/A. BPC/A's Bridjet Blount scored 9 points, which put her over the 1,000 mark in her career with another season to play.
Annawan (21-8) took down #1 ranked Brimfield (28-4) 38-36 in OT. Kelly Buresh led the Bravettes with 17 points. Nicole Clevenger scored 10 for the Indians

South Fulton (23-8) defeated Argenta-Oreana (21-10) 35-33

HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL - REGULAR SEASON
Rowva defeated United 57-39. Trevor McCarthy scored 16 points to lead the Tigers (16-10). Alex Gavin led the Red Storm (16-11) with 10 points.
Knoxville (11-13) downed Farmington (5-19) 80-67. Matt Sagona scored a game-high 25 points for the Blue Bullets.
