College Basketball
The Carl Sandburg College men's and women's basketball teams will play at Kishwaukee College Thursday in the first round of the Region 4 Tournament. The women's game will start at 5:30, with men to follow at 7:30.

Duke is back atop The Associated Press men's basketball poll, capturing 35 of 65 first-place votes following losses by the top four teams in last week's poll. Second-ranked Ohio State picked up 10 first-place votes and is followed in the poll by Kansas, Pittsburgh, and Texas.

In top 25 college basketball action Monday night, Number 3 Kansas had its way with Oklahoma State , 92 to 69. Number 17 Syracuse edged Number 15 Villanova 65 to 64.

Illinois plays at #2 Ohio State Tuesday night at 6pm
