UNDATED (AP) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers' mammoth losing streak is now in the NBA record books. The Cavs tied an NBA record for single-season consecutive defeats with their 23rd straight loss, 112-105 to Memphis.
The Cavaliers matched the 1995-96 Grizzlies, then in Vancouver, and the 1997-98 Denver Nuggets. They can claim the league's mark for futility for their own with a loss in Saturday night's game at home against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Zach Randolph had 29 points and 13 rebounds, Rudy Gay added 26 points and 11 boards as the Grizzlies won their season-best fifth straight.
