|Jurors Get Murder Case of Ex-Va. Lacrosse Player
|CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) -- Less than 90 minutes into their deliberations, jurors in the murder trial of a former University of Virginia lacrosse player had a question for the judge.
Jurors who began deliberations Wednesday in the trial of George Huguely asked Circuit Judge Edward Hogshire the meaning of ``reason'' within the judge's lengthy instructions to the panel. He advised them common usage would apply.
The jury of seven men and five women began deliberations on charges that Huguely killed Yeardley Love in a drunken, jealous rage in May 2010. Huguely also faces five other charges.
Hogshire told attorneys in the case to remain available, anticipating more questions from jurors.
