| McDonald Leads Blues to Win Over Oilers |
EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) -- Andy McDonald scored twice and Kevin Shattenkirk had a goal and two assists as the St. Louis Blues defeated the Edmonton Oilers 5-2 on Wednesday.
St. Louis moved into a tie with the Detroit Red Wings atop the Central Division with 87 points and a point back of the Vancouver Canucks for the overall league lead.
Scott Nichol and Chris Stewart also scored for the Blues, who have won four straight on a six-game road trip.
St. Louis has won 10 of its last 13 games.
