HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL
BOYS
The Galesburg Silver Streaks drop their fourth straight game, unable to beat Blue Island Eisenhower's "system" 91-85. The Streaks did easily score more last night than any other game this season, however. Aslan Butler's career-high 26 points led the Streaks, followed by Grant Gibson's career high of 18 points. The Streaks are now 9-17 on the season.

GIRLS
Another victory over Dunlap for the Silver Streaks girls Saturday, this time on Dunlap's home court, 59-41. Sharron Diggins led the Streaks with 18 points, followed by Paige Klinck's 12 and Jessica Lieber's 10. The Streaks are now 24-5 on the season.

HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING
GHS' Wrestling team did well at the Geneseo Regional Saturday. Ryan Listenbee placed 1st in the 145 pound weight class, Jonathan Mixon placed second in the 182 pound class, and Demario Walker placed third in the 195 pound class. The team now heads to sectional play next Friday at Sterling, where the top 4 wrestlers go to state.
HIGH SCHOOL BOWLING
The Galesburg High School Girls Bowling team placed 15th at the Galesburg Sectional Saturday at Northgate Lanes. Sterling was sectional champion. Ashton Lucero led the Silver Streaks with a 931 series. Colleen Wiechmann bowled a series of 882, Kaylee Mesecher followed with an 867, Paige Trulson bowling 844 and Ali DePauw bowling 673. Megan McVey led Abingdon with a 1,016 series, helping the Commandos finish in 12th place with 4,729. West Central finished 13th with 4,686. Montana Pence bowled a series of 1,128.
